How We Contribute to a More Sustainable Signage Industry
The signage industry can be typically very wasteful and lacking in environmental awareness.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. As the world rapidly becomes aware of our damaging effect on the environment, businesses with no environmental policy will struggle to survive.
We wanted to be part of the solution, so we asked ourselves: What can we do to become more environmentally-friendly?
As part of a continuous effort to reduce our carbon footprint while continuing to grow our business, we’ve put together some sustainable initiatives.
Here are some of the things we do at Resolve:
- All the inks that we use are GreenGuard Gold certified.
- We use non-PVC self-adhesive films
- We use corflute bins, allowing scrap corflute to be recycled into new corflute.
There’s also a fabric we’ve been using that can be sent to a recycling facility in NSW, who then mix it with wood pulp and materials to make new products.
As an industry, we need to start thinking about how we can make the planet a better place.
For us, this means using less PVC, solvents and chemicals, and increasing our recycling efforts.
Planning for the future is something that every business should and can be doing. Without a plan that addresses how to tackle the defining issues of our times, your business will go backwards.
So, why not act now, and be a leader rather than overtaken by those who have planned for a better future?
